About this course

Tomorrow Trail keeps kindergarten skills fresh over the summer and gets kids ready for first grade. Ferris the Fox and his friends lead the way through 12 trail stops of short daily activities in reading, writing, math, thinking and discovery, with every line read aloud.

Kids will

  • Hear beginning sounds and match letters to pictures
  • Hear and find rhyming words
  • Read the sight words I, see and a, and match short sentences
  • Count, compare and write numbers to 10, and make 5 with number bonds
  • Spot patterns and the one that does not belong
  • Retell a short story and talk about how characters feel
  • Notice the natural world: living and nonliving things
  • Meet community helpers and the tools they use
